Full job description

Overall Job Purpose

Preparation for delivery and collection for rental vehicles, dealing with clients in a professional and courteous manor. Accurate paperwork is completed upon delivery and signatures obtained where possible on handover. Handling customer expectation and SLA’s, making sure all relevant information obtained on collections and good clear pictures are taken, all signatures are required.

Scope of Job

You will be responsible for the following:

· Checking vehicle before delivery and filling in the QC sheet to determine 100% accuracy

· Boot to boot checks with clients on hand over

· Filling in the correct details on collection to ensure yourself and client are satisfied before you leave and obtaining the correct information/signatures where required

· Reporting to rental staff when on the road delivering and collecting, communication is key

· Managing the daily expectation of the branch

· Liaising with clients on deliveries and collections

· Accurate information to be competed on fuel receipts

· Drivers logs to be completed daily

· Information required to rental staff for tolls

· Fuel cards are your responsibility and you must liaise with the office on spend

· Clear pictures in correct order to be sent to branch upon collection/delivery

· Damage tools are used on every vehicle collected and visible in pictures

· You must know and understand the BVRLA FW&T policy

· Communication with office staff on ETA’s and any issues on the road must be reported straight away

· It is your responsibility to clock in and out daily to log your working day and log your breaks

· You must log your own annual leave and request any doctors’ appointments yourself through the app

· It is your responsibility to check driving licences on delivery where required and check all is in order

· Make staff aware of any service requirements or warning lights on any vehicle · Any other duties requested by manager/rental staff, these may include some of the following duties, help valet, help Qc, help cleaning of garage, etc· Drive carefully & considerably at all times.

Person Specification

Organisation, using own initiative, time management, IT skills with intermediate level of Word/Excel/Outlook, full driving licence.

Ideally worked within the rental industry but not essential.

Ideally knowledge assessing vehicles through a clean and damage process.
