Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Hotel Receptionist/Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing reception duties and supporting the hospitality experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hotel environment, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist our diverse clientele, and previous hotel experience will be considered an advantage.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Handle phone enquiries with excellent etiquette, directing calls appropriately
Support waiting staff during meal service by taking orders and delivering food and beverages as required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
Assist guests with luggage and other needs to enhance their overall experience
Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary
Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout all interactions
To undertake any other ad-hoc duties (bar and restaurant work) relevant to the post as and when required. Experience in Bar would be advantage.
16 -20 hours a week, including weekends which is compulsory
Experience
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of guest services operations and hospitality standards is advantageous
Friendly, professional demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environmentThis role offers an engaging working environment where your interpersonal skills can shine. We value dedicated team members committed to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
