Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

Harrow, HA3
£40,000 – £49,000 per year

Full-time | Permanent

Key responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service.
Lead, motivate, and support a team of carers to maintain high standards of care.
Ensure care plans are tailored, effective, and regularly reviewed.
Monitor service quality through audits, spot checks, and compliance reviews.
Maintain strong working relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and local authorities.
Support safe staffing, rota management, and operational efficiency.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Promote continuous improvement across all areas of the service.

About you

To be considered, you will ideally have:

Previous experience managing or supervising within a care setting.
Strong understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, or currently working towards this.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable experience

Local authority networking or relationship management.
Tender writing or contract management exposure.
Experience supporting service growth or development initiatives.

Package and benefits

Salary between £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
Paid mileage for work travel.
Free parking available.
Flexible holiday allowance available for the right person.
