Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator Manager to make sure that our depot(s) run smoothly and that each one of our customers receives their fuel on time and to a first-class service.

The main point of contact for our Fuel Operators/Drivers with regards to their rota and shifts and be accountable with the Logistics Manager the effective management of logistics, vehicle management, people, schedules and reporting.

Your aim is to make sure every vehicle meets its regularity compliance, safety requirements and is in expected condition for each of our Fuel Operators for them to service our customers and submitting regular reporting to the Company Management.

Main Tasks:

Delivering high levels of customer service internally and externally
Route monitoring of vehicles and Fuel Operators
Supporting the maintenance of vehicles and pumps
Responsible for the smooth running of a busy operational depot in line with Management instructions
Completing in-house reports to provide data from Jigsaw (stock, volumes etc)
ISO reporting
Checking that all vehicles leaving the Depot are secure and meet required transport legislation requirements
Supporting the Depot Manager in employee performance as well as reviewing your own performance management
Ensure that all Employees are complying with their training
Monitor and escalate issues with Fuel operators conduct, feedback from clients as well as overall conduct/performance, uniform and behaviour
Help with the on-boarding process of new Fuel Operators
Looking at efficiencies and ways to reduce costs
Produce reports for CEO and Senior Management
Adherence to Company procedures and statutory laws

Experience of using Microsoft

Experience in using Transport Routing & Scheduling applications

Experience in using Tracking Systems

Knowledge of H&S and legal requirements

Adherence with company requirements in terms of legislation

Furthering personal development through any training that the company delivers / arranges or wants competed to successfully fulfil the requirements of the role.

Ability to be flexible and complete necessary tasks and duties outside of this JD when required

Follow instructions of the company management and maintain obligation as per your contract of employment and all company processes and procedures

Working Days & Hours:

24-7 operation and therefore working outside of “usual hours” may be required; however, this position is mainly Monday – Friday

Salary and Benefits:

£27k

Pension after 3 months

Friendly working environment

Birthday off after probation

PMP after probation

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
