About Us

At POD Management, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional property and estate management services across the UK, combining innovation, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.

We are now seeking an ambitious and driven Duty Manager to join our team at a high-profile, mixed-tenure development in Southall. This is a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, evolving environment where no two days are the same.

With exciting future phases planned — including luxury amenities scheduled for handover in 2027 — alongside existing facilities such as a gym, cinema, co-working space and meeting rooms, this role offers strong career progression and the opportunity to gain invaluable experience within a dynamic estate.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of the development, acting as the first point of contact for residents, visitors and stakeholders.

You will play a key role in ensuring service excellence, maintaining high standards across all areas of the estate, and supporting the wider management team in delivering a premium living experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support on-site teams to maintain consistently high service standards
Oversee daily operations across the development, ensuring smooth delivery of all services
Act as the primary escalation point for incidents, issues and resident concerns
Manage and monitor contractors to ensure quality, compliance and performance standards
Support mobilisation and ongoing asset management activities across the estate
Champion Health & Safety, proactively identifying risks and ensuring compliance
Carry out operational checks, inspections and amenity management (including opening/closing procedures)
Handle complaints professionally, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
Provide operational cover during staffing gaps to ensure continuity of service

About You

Essential Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within residential, hospitality, facilities management or customer service
Demonstrable experience managing incidents, complaints and challenging situations professionally
Strong understanding of building operations and contractor management

Key Skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational ability with the capacity to prioritise and delegate effectively
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices and risk management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Desirable

Experience working within large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
Exposure to site mobilisation or transition phases
IOSH, First Aid at Work or similar qualifications

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary: £34,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience)
