Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within AshLea Medical Practice for a part-time Administrator and Referral Officer to join our team working across our two site practice.

We are a 2 site practice in Ashtead and Leatherhead in Surrey, with 10 partners and approximately 60 staff, our multi-disciplinary team includes Associate GPs, GPwSIs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and a multi-skilled Practice Nurse team.

We serve approximately 20,000 patients. We have close links and are actively involved in the Leatherhead Primary Care Network and Dorking Healthcare GP Federation.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our administration team to provide support with a wide range of administrative duties.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Filing
Actioning incoming emails/tasks
Data entry of patient information.
Processing patient information changes
Processing death and birth notifications
Review of clinical letters
Summarising and digitising patient records
Processing requests for information and non-NHS contract work
Code patient data as required on EMIS Web
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
Managing administrative queries
Supporting clinical staff with general administration
Processing referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)

Pay: £13.65 per hour

Education:
