EXCITING TIMES AHEAD, EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENTHUSIASTIC, MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS

Due to our companies continued growth we are currently recruiting a

Restaurant Supervisor at The Waterside Hotel

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in all aspects of food and beverage operations to support our Restaurant Manger on the the smooth running of the Restaurant within the Hotel. This is a hands on role in the day to day running of the Restaurant, which will include carrying out duty manager duties within the Hotel. The Restaurant Supervisor must be people focused demonstrating excellent guest service at all times. Good eye for detail, setting example for team to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meet guests needs and exceed expectations. Business and people management are equally important elements.

An enthusiastic individual who aspires to be the best and can offer a warm and friendly welcome to all guests to make their visit to the hotel an exceptional experience. Experience of running and motivating teams, dealing with a variety of guest and business situations is required. You must be flexible in terms of working hours. Experience in a similar quality 4 star hotel is beneficial.

Key areas of responsibility:-

· Ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day operations of the Restaurant.

· Ensuring that every effort is made to reduce costs and maximise sales within department.

· Ensure that all team within your remit comply to current licensing, health and safety, food safety and fire safety regulations

· Ensure that the highest standards of guest care are achieved at all times. By offering a friendly, efficient, informal yet highly professional service. Meeting and greeting guests, dealing with guests complaints and comments.

· Carry out Duty Manager shifts as per the management rota.

· Addressing problems and troubleshooting. Be proactive.

· Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.

· Standards throughout the restaurant and hotel are continuously developed and enhanced.

· Reporting requested is carried out in an appropriate and timely fashion.

· Train, review, develop and motivate team throughout the restaurant operation.

· Liaise with HOD’s to ensure that standards and sales are continuously developed throughout the hotel.

· Liaise with the Restaurant Manager on the continued development of F&B Departments.
