Full job description

Queensway Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our friendly team as a Pharmacy Dispenser, with the opportunity to undertake training and progress towards becoming a qualified Pharmacy Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in pharmacy. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in dispensing medicines, supporting patients, and contributing to the smooth running of a busy community pharmacy while receiving support and training towards a recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing prescriptions accurately under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Ordering and managing patient repeat medications.
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
Organising and coordinating prescription deliveries.
Serving customers and providing excellent customer service.
Handling patient queries professionally and confidentially.
Maintaining accurate records and filing paperwork.
Supporting pharmacy services and administrative duties.
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standard operating procedures.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Be confident using computers and pharmacy software systems.
Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Be reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.
Be eager to learn and develop within the pharmacy profession.
Previous pharmacy dispensing experience is desirable but not essential.
