Hotel Receptionist - Pay rate: FROM £13.00 per hour (Full time)

Position: Immediate start - Reports to Manager

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Maintain the reception area in an organised and tidy manner.

Requirements

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
Proficiency in using hotel management software is an advantage such as Guestline/ Rezlynx, Opera or any property management system (PMS), but not mandatory; training will be provided.
