Job Title: Barista
Location: Sass Café & Bar, WSM Town Centre (BS23 1JN)
Salary: £10.85–£12.71 per hour + tips

About Us

At Sass Café & Bar, we’re focused on delivering high-quality coffee, food, and service in a busy, welcoming café environment. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly space for both our customers and our team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Barista to support the day-to-day running of the café.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and contributes positively to a team. You’ll be involved in preparing drinks and food, maintaining standards, and helping ensure smooth, efficient shifts.

For the right person, there is also potential to grow into a Café Supervisor role over time, supporting management with the day-to-day running of shifts and helping guide the team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, drinks, and food
Provide friendly and attentive customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the café
Support smooth, efficient service during busy periods
Assist with opening/closing duties and general setup
Help monitor stock and keep service running without disruption

What We’re Looking For

A positive, customer-focused attitude
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
Barista or café experience required
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday availability (between 11am-5pm) including some potential Saturday availability.
