Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Factory Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working on the production line within a food processing environment, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth operations and adhering to food safety regulations. Prior experience in food production or familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor end of line packing machinery. 10Kg vacuum packing/sealing and stacking.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any malfunctions or safety hazards.
Follow strict HACCP and food safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards throughout the production process.
Assist with setup and cleaning of machinery as required.
Report any issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly to minimise downtime.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is desirable.
Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines diligently.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
