Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry/Ironing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry and linen items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Previous experience in a hotel environment is highly desirable, as it demonstrates familiarity with professional laundry procedures and customer service expectations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic hospitality setting, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines efficiently and safely. .
Ensure all laundry items are pressed to a professional finish, maintaining quality standards.
Organise clean linen in designated storage areas for easy access.
Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linen for guest use or event purposes.

Skills

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly advantageous but full training and support will be given.
Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishing of all items.
Good physical stamina, capable of standing and handling heavy loads when necessary.
Excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules and deadlines.
Reliable team player with good communication skills. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, are attentive to detail, and enjoy contributing to a welcoming guest environment through high-quality laundry services.
