Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Inhouse Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in financial accounting and proficiency in various accounting software to contribute to organisational growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to support management decision-making.
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Utilise accounting software such as Xero to maintain financial data integrity.
Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on financial procedures and best practices.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial accounting or management accounting within a similar organisation.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of financial services industry practices is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated mentoring skills with a proactive approach to team development.
Experience handling accounts payable processes and financial management tasks.
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
