Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality and culinary fields, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations by supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and implementing company policies, often filling in for the Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
Train and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication
Maintain high standards of service and customer care.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, enhancing the overall dining experience
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Availability for weekend and evening shifts.
