Bar & Catering Assistant Windermere Golf Club

Windermere Golf Club is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Bar & Catering Assistant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming golf club environment, providing excellent service to our members, visitors and guests.

The Role

As a Bar & Catering Assistant, you will help deliver a high standard of customer service across our bar and catering operations. Duties will include:

Serving members, visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
Taking and serving food and drink orders
Preparing and serving drinks from the bar
Assisting with food preparation and general catering duties
Keeping the bar, dining and service areas clean, tidy and well presented
Operating the till and handling payments accurately
Supporting the team with functions, events and golf competitions
Following food hygiene, health and safety and licensing requirements
Working as part of a team to ensure members and visitors receive an enjoyable experience

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
Confident communicating with members and visitors
Able to work in a busy environment while maintaining a high standard of service
Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and during events when required
Previous bar, catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
