Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Multi Sports Coaches to lead engaging holiday camps for children aged 5 to 12 years old. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes, develop their skills across various sports, and promote teamwork and enjoyment. The successful candidates will have a passion for sports coaching and teaching, with a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment during school holidays. During our Multi-sports camp, we offer a wide range of activities from Dodgeball, Tennis, Netball, Football and even Swimming!

Duties

Plan and deliver a variety of sports activities suitable for different age groups and skill levels
Lead organised games, drills, and competitions to encourage participation and skill development
Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Foster a supportive environment that promotes teamwork, fair play, and enjoyment
Monitor participant behaviour and provide positive reinforcement to motivate children
Assist with setting up equipment and clearing away after activities
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and camp organisers regarding participant progress or concerns
Adapt activities as needed to accommodate different abilities and ensure inclusivity
Our camp day runs from 9am to 4pm for children, coaches are required on site from 8:30am until the venue is tidies & all children have left

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities suitable for children and young people
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young participants
Organised with the ability to plan age-appropriate activities that are fun, safe, and educational
Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude towards working with children
Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or teaching (desirable but not essential)
First aid certification (preferred but not mandatory)

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sport and education to make a meaningful impact during school holidays while developing their coaching skills in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £65.00-£90.00 per day
