Job Summary

We are looking for an upbeat, confident, reliable & physically fit member of staff to join our small family run launderette. To join us on a Saturday & Sunday. We are a very busy shop with a great reputation for our attention to detail & quick turn around times. This role is vital to maintaining high standards we already maintain.

We are a friendly team, like to have a laugh but work hard and efficiently therefore we are looking for someone who works well in a team, can use their own intuitive if necessary and has confidence working in a customer facing job.

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, and load laundry items into washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Fold, and organise clean linen and clothing items.
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is kept in good working order.
Assist with special laundry requests or urgent tasks as required.
Assist customers with using the laundry equipment and giving change.
Assisting with customers collecting their service washes.
Answering the phone/text/Whatsapp.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or late evenings if required
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
