Job Summary

Part time/term time only and full time positions available

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PCV Coach Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth journey. Your expertise in driving, mechanical knowledge, and communication skills will contribute to delivering a reliable and enjoyable experience for all passengers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team committed to safety, professionalism, and community engagement.

Duties

Operate passenger carrying vehicles (PCVs), including coaches, with precision and adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-journey inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical integrity and cleanliness
Safely pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
Communicate clearly with passengers, providing information about routes, stops, and safety procedures in fluent English
Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team
Uphold high standards of customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries or concerns

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with appropriate PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) certification or equivalent licensing
Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver with a strong driving record
Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist in routine maintenance tasks
Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
Prior experience as a coach or bus driver is highly desirable
Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions and traffic scenarios
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to vehicle safety and passenger comfort
