Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Senior Parts Advisor to join our team at Nissan Eltham. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining organised records, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our automotive or machinery service centre. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organised, communicative, and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment, providing expert advice where necessary
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory using Microsoft Excel and other organisational tools
Process sales transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service
Manage incoming calls, respond to enquiries professionally, and provide information on product availability and specifications
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure parts are available for scheduled repairs or services
Keep the parts department tidy, organised, and well-stocked to facilitate quick retrieval of items
Support stock control by monitoring inventory levels and reordering supplies as needed
Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner
Strong organisational skills to manage inventory records accurately and efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking stock levels, and generating reports
Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to automotive or machinery parts is advantageous
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer service
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and possess a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our customer satisfaction levels through their organisational skills and proactive approach.

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
