Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to guests
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
Serve food items with professionalism and attentiveness
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
Engage with guests to create a friendly, welcoming environment
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Assist in setting up for special events or functions when required

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Effective time management to ensure timely service during peak hours
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work
