Full job description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and manage procurement strategies for products, accessories, and store supplies.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality products.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Coordinate with warehouse and store teams to ensure timely product availability.
Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for senior management.

Skills

- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.

- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.

- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

- Proficiency in procurement systems, Microsoft Excel, and business reporting tools.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and business objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Relevant professional procurement or supply chain certifications are advantageous.

Experience Required

- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

- Experience sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.

- Strong understanding of inventory planning, stock control, and cost management.

- Experience monitoring procurement performance and implementing process improvements.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
