Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to provide essential administrative assistance within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, supporting team members, and ensuring efficient data management. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience and excellent communication skills to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate data entry using various software tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately and providing exceptional customer service.
Organise meetings, appointments, and schedules to optimise workflow efficiency.
Assist with invoicing, bookkeeping, and financial record keeping using QuickBooks.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentation materials as required.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document management.
Collaborate with team members to streamline office procedures and improve organisational productivity.
Ensure all office supplies are stocked and properly maintained.

Qualifications

Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly via phone and written correspondence.
Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, record keeping, and managing schedules.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. This role is ideal for proactive individuals seeking a supportive environment where their organisational skills can thrive while contributing meaningfully to our organisation’s success.

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
