The Role:

You will play a key role in showcasing how we live and breathe our purpose, principles, and values every day ensuring our messages are clear, consistent, and impactful across all audiences.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that resonate with our target audience and set us apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Engagement & Communication
- Create compelling campaign content including images, video, and infographics
- Produce blogs, articles, information packs, and scripts for senior leaders
- Develop digital content to support campaigns and key business initiatives
- Plan and manage all social media platforms and internal communication channels
- Curate and deliver engaging internal newsletters
Leadership & Stakeholder Communications
- Edit and publish leadership communications
- Coordinate and deliver editorial and media campaigns
- Partner with senior leaders to plan and phase communications effectively
- Provide communication strategies aligned with Solus priorities and strategy
- Offer guidance on incorporating senior leaders into campaigns
Events & Campaign Delivery
- Organise and coordinate engagement events
- Draft briefing materials for event hosts and guests
- Gather and manage content from stakeholders to support communication plans
Brand & External Engagement
- Help shape and strengthen the Solus brand internally and externally
- Manage and update website and careers page content
- Build strong relationships with Aviva to align strategies and deliver impactful communications
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with industry best practice
- Share insights, ideas, and innovation with the wider team
- Support broader business needs with flexibility and collaboration

Qualifications:

Experience

Background in communications, such as internal communications, PR, media, marketing, or stakeholder engagement
Proven experience delivering proactive and reactive media campaigns
Experience working with regional, national, or international media within a high-profile organisation

Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of social media, digital channels, and content marketing
Excellent writing and storytelling skills
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
Highly organised with the ability to work at pace and deliver high-quality outputs

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Office
Experience using Canva
Ability to film and capture high-quality video and audio
Skilled in editing using Adobe Creative Suite
