Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for visual storytelling and be proficient in various editing software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from digital content to print media, ensuring all visuals meet high-quality standards. The position isn't paid yet as it's only starting up now but is suitable for both experienced professionals and aspiring editors eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Edit and enhance photographs to meet project specifications, ensuring colour accuracy, composition, and overall visual appeal.
Utilise Adobe Photoshop for retouching, colour correction, and image manipulation.
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, creating engaging visual content for various platforms.
Design layouts and graphics with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator for print and digital media.
Apply motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to produce compelling video content.
Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to deliver cohesive visual narratives.
Organise and manage large volumes of digital assets efficiently within the Adobe Creative Suite environment.
Stay updated with current design trends and software updates to continuously improve editing techniques.

Skills

Proven experience in photography, video editing, and graphic design.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
Strong understanding of colour grading, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Creative flair combined with attention to detail to produce polished final products.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of the latest trends in digital media and visual arts is desirable. This role offers a stimulating environment for creative professionals passionate about visual storytelling through photography and video editing.
