Full job description

Supervisor padel bonito - Full-Time/Part-Time

We’re launching an exciting new indoor padel centre, with fourteen padel courts and a cafe/bar. Our aim is to create a vibrant and inclusive community. A high-quality environment for players of all ages and abilities. We’re now looking for a proactive and motivated Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of the facility and help drive its success.

The Role

As a Supervisor, you will support the Assistant Manager and General Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be hands-on, highly organised, and confident in taking responsibility when required.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management of the facility
Lead shifts and supervise front of house staff
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high standards are maintained
Assist with staff training, and performance management
Manage bookings, memberships, and customer enquiries
Support the delivery of events, leagues, and social activities
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively
Ensure health & safety and operational procedures are followed
Assist with sales, promotions, and local marketing initiatives
Step in to manage the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and Assistant Manager

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in a supervisory or team leader role (leisure, sport, or hospitality)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service focus
Organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Confident problem solver with a proactive approach
Basic IT skills (booking systems, emails, POS systems)
Flexible, reliable, and willing to work evenings and weekends and some holidays.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience working in a sports or leisure environment
Interest or knowledge of padel, tennis, or similar activities
Previous bar / cafe experience
Experience with membership sales and customer retention
First Aid qualification
Experience supporting marketing or social media activity
Understanding of health & safety and safeguarding in a sport setting
Experience running events or community programmes
