Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medicine Counter Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. In this energetic position, you will assist customers with their medication needs, provide valuable health advice, and ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy counter. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and patients, supporting their health journeys every step of the way.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting over-the-counter medications and health products.
Provide accurate information about medication usage, side effects, and storage instructions to support patient safety.
Support pharmacy staff with medication administration tasks under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain organized stock levels on the pharmacy counter, restocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
Process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems while maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
Uphold strict confidentiality standards when handling patient information and medication details.
Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene and safety regulations at all times.

Experience
