Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
Handle card transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests effectively
Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting the dining area/bar as needed

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
