Full job description

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Porter, where your energetic presence and dedication will ensure our guests experience seamless service and a safe, welcoming environment throughout the night. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during evening hours, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining the security and smooth operation of the property. Your multilingual skills and hospitality background will help create a memorable experience for diverse guests, making every night an opportunity to deliver excellence.

Duties

Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere.
Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
Monitor security systems, conduct regular patrols of the premises, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies during your shift.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests or resolve issues swiftly.
Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and visitor access for safety compliance.
Support guest services by arranging transportation, providing local recommendations, and addressing special requests efficiently.
Ensure all areas are secure at all times, including entrances, exits, and common spaces.

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel operations or hospitality roles is highly preferred.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
Excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests professionally.
Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations is advantageous.
Ability to remain alert during night shifts, with good observational skills for security monitoring.
Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
Flexibility to work overnight hours consistently and adapt to varying shift schedules.
