Full job description

Production Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Administrator to support our fast-paced production operation. This role is key to ensuring accurate administration, effective communication, and smooth day-to-day coordination across the production team.

Key Responsibilities

Process employee wage information and obtain supervisor approvals.
Track and record daily employee hours across two production shifts.
Prepare and maintain production documentation and records.
Manage absence reporting processes, prepare return-to-work documentation, and communicate relevant information to the HR department.
Compile production figures from previous shifts and update Gemba reports.
Produce and distribute OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) reports for the Production Manager.
Provide general administrative support to the production and management teams as required.

Essential Requirements

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with colleagues at all levels.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
GCSE Grade A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keeping.
