Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with supervisory experience in hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met
Manage food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations and company policies
Assist with food production and ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests
Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive working environment
Monitor service standards, guest satisfaction, and resolve any issues promptly
Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas
Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality regulations and standards

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management and leadership abilities
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Experience in food production, serving, and hospitality operations
Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary processes, and restaurant management systems
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high service standards

This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding dining experiences. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for culinary excellence, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
