Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your work will contribute to creating visually appealing, durable, and professional environments across a variety of projects. .

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools
Follow detailed project plans and specifications to achieve precise results
Collaborate with team members and clients to select appropriate colors, textures, and materials for each project
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials
Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure finishes meet standards and client expectations
Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress or any issues encountered

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
Knowledge of safety protocols related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and using power tools
Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
