Warehouse Operative - Lorient - Newton Abbot

Earn up to £26,694.30 + Overtime + Career Development Opportunities

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a successful manufacturing business where your skills are valued and rewarded? Do you enjoy working as part of a team?

Are you reliable, hardworking, and ready to be part of a busy and supportive logistics team? We're looking for a Warehouse Operative who holds a Counterbance FLT licences and takes pride in doing a great job and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something different.

Whether you already have warehouse experience or you're looking to build a career in logistics, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is provided, and we'll support you every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products move efficiently through the warehouse and reach our customers on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Receiving and unloading deliveries safely and accurately

✅ Checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork and reporting any issues

✅ Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch

✅ Labelling and packaging products to ensure safe transportation

✅ Supporting stock control activities and inventory checks

✅ Loading vehicles safely and efficiently

✅ Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

✅ Following all health and safety policies and procedures

✅ Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

✅ Supporting new starters and contributing to a positive team culture

What We're Looking For

We're interested in people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high standards.

Essential Skills

Good attention to detail
Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence
Strong organisational and time management skills
Basic numeracy skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and regularly lift items up to 20-25kg

Desirable Experience

Previous warehouse experience
Experience using handheld scanners or inventory systems
