Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Collection Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely collecting payments and delivering exceptional customer service while navigating your assigned route. Duties

Safely operate a commercial van or delivery vehicle to collect payments from customers at various locations.
Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers during collection visits, answering questions and providing excellent service.
Verify payment amounts, process transactions accurately, and update records promptly.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning.
Maintain detailed logs of collections, routes, and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading or unloading goods when necessary, including heavy lifting.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a delivery driver or collection driver is preferred; a strong driving record is essential.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history; experience operating vans or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
Basic knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning.
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with logistics and handling goods.
