Full job description

Door Supervisor – Coventry & Rugby
Locations: Coventry & Rugby
Pay: £13.25 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience and venue)

We are currently recruiting professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our team working across a range of busy bars, pubs, and late-night venues in Coventry and Rugby.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for regular weekend and evening work in the nightlife industry.

Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Smart, professional appearance
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with conflict professionally
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
Previous experience in the licensed trade is desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities

Controlling entry and exit to licensed premises
Checking identification and ensuring compliance with venue entry policies
Providing a welcoming and professional first impression for customers
Monitoring customer behaviour and maintaining a safe environment
Preventing and managing conflict using effective communication and de-escalation techniques
Removing individuals from the premises where necessary, using lawful and reasonable force only when required
Conducting regular patrols of the venue and surrounding areas
Liaising with venue management, staff, police, and emergency services when required
Responding to incidents, emergencies, and first aid situations where appropriate
Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
Ensuring compliance with licensing objectives and company procedures
