Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service to patrons, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, offering valuable experience within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age in accordance with food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor stock levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest experience

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a lively environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Knowledge of safety standards is desirable
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within the team

Pay: £12.71 per hour
