Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation, seeking steady employment in a professional setting. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable, though full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, communal spaces, and specialised facilities, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes to meet organisational standards.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed to ensure continuous availability.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities.
Follow organisational procedures for security and confidentiality when handling sensitive areas or information.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst managing time effectively.
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
Physical capability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and professional approach when interacting with colleagues and clients.
Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, with an understanding of the importance of punctuality and reliability.
