Renowned for exceptional customer service and an extensive product range, the company supports trade professionals, DIY enthusiasts, and local communities through its comprehensive stock of building materials, including timber, bricks, plumbing, and landscaping supplies.

Carvers Building Supplies are looking for a hardworking and reliable Timber Yard Operative / Forklift Driver to join their busy timber yard in Neachells Lane, Wednesfield.

Main Duties

Loading and unloading deliveries.
Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
Loading company and customer vehicles.
Loading and unloading articulated and rigid lorries.
Stock handling and storage of timber and building materials.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised yard.
Assisting customers collecting goods from the branch.
Carrying out daily forklift checks and operating equipment safely.

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred.
Previous experience within a timber merchant, builders merchant or warehouse environment desirable.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
Reliable, hardworking and customer focused.
