Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional front-desk support and administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous office or administrative experience is highly desirable, and the position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and effectively
Maintain appointment schedules and organise meetings, ensuring all arrangements are in place
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation with accuracy
Assist with organising office supplies and ensuring the reception area remains tidy and welcoming
Support other team members with various administrative duties as required
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Liaise with external vendors or service providers as needed to facilitate office operations

Skills

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred but not essential
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills in British English
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all tasks undertaken
