Full job description

Job Summary

Join our team as a Seasonal Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests and staff. This energetic position involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will ensure that every detail reflects our commitment to excellence, providing an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This seasonal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment while honing your cleaning and customer service skills.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replenished regularly to meet guest expectations.
Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to appropriate personnel promptly.
Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and special event preparations as needed.
Uphold confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times while delivering friendly, professional service.

Skills

Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred to understand the unique needs of guests and the importance of attention to detail.
Strong janitorial skills with experience in commercial cleaning environments.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest inquiries or requests.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
A proactive approach to cleanliness standards and a passion for creating welcoming spaces that guests will enjoy.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
