Job Overview

Join our dynamic security team as an SIA Door Supervisor and become the frontline guardian of safety and order at our vibrant venue. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by managing access, monitoring activity, and ensuring a welcoming yet controlled atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your energetic presence will help foster a positive experience while upholding the highest standards of safety, surveillance, and loss prevention. Duties

Manage entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the premises
Conduct thorough checks on visitors, staff, and contractors to promote safety and prevent unauthorized access
Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity across the venue, identifying potential security concerns
Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
Enforce venue policies with professionalism, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees and staff
Maintain detailed logs of shifts, incidents, and surveillance activities to support ongoing security operations

Requirements

Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license and CCTV License (not Mandatory) is essential for employment
Strong observational skills with experience in surveillance or CCTV monitoring preferred
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and ability to identify suspicious activity
Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring
Excellent communication skills with a confident, approachable demeanor
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout shifts in a lively environment
