Job Overview
About Us:

We are a well-established property maintenance company based in Somerset, specializing in general maintenance for tenanted properties. We take great pride in our excellent reputation and are looking for a reliable and professional individual to join our Maintenance team. This role requires a proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to bring value to our small team of tradespeople, ensuring the high-quality finish that we are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Painting and decorating
Stain blocking and mould treatment
Assisting in kitchen fitting
Stud walls and plaster boarding works
Gardening and landscaping
Fencing, garden clearance, repairs and general garden maintenance
Hanging doors and lock repairs/replacements
Grouting and Tiling of wall and floor tiles
Measuring and fitting curtains and blinds
Light maintenance such as changing smoke detectors, switches, and plug points
Furniture and rubbish clearance
Basic like for like replacement plumbing jobs changing taps, toilet repairs etc.
Assisting our Kitchen and bathroom fitting team with demolition and set up of new carcasses.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Tiling and grouting and mastic/silicone work
splashbacks and shower wall installation
General carpentry and advantage (routing)
Basic electrical works - like for like change plug plates
General maintenance duties – hanging curtain poles, fixing window openers etc.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Plasterboarding (basic plastering an advantage - not essential)

Skills

Personable, and customer focused
experienced as a general trade (min 3 years)
Full clean driving license
Can-do attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Full UK driving license
Own tools
Strong time management skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proactive, forward-thinking with the ability to use initiative
Professional, positive attitude
Reliable and trustworthy
Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines
