Full job description

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our expanding team at Western Lettings.

You’ll be working as part of a supportive and experienced team, carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across our managed residential properties throughout Glasgow and the surrounding area.

The work is varied, so no two days are the same. We’ll provide a company van, equipment and everything you need to carry out the role.

Key Responsibilities

General property maintenance and repairs
Basic joinery and carpentry repairs
Minor plumbing and general handyman work
Carrying out repairs within occupied and vacant residential properties
Diagnosing maintenance issues and identifying appropriate solutions
Communicating with tenants and our office team
Keeping job records and updates accurate using our mobile systems

Essential

Strong general property maintenance experience
Good practical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using a smartphone and basic IT systems
Well organised, reliable and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Experience in any of the following would be particularly beneficial:

Painting and decorating
Plastering
Joinery/carpentry
Minor plumbing
Property refurbishment
Experience working within residential lettings or property maintenance
