Job Overview

Tilbrook's Landscape Ltd is an established and respected grounds maintenance and landscaping contractor operating across East Anglia.

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Cambridge team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working 40 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, you'll help maintain a range of commercial properties to a high standard while working as part of a friendly and professional team.

Duties

Carrying out grounds maintenance on a variety of commercial sites
Lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and general horticultural duties
Application of herbicides and pesticides (spraying) in line with regulations
Keeping machinery and tools well-maintained and used safely
Completing job records and reporting issues promptly
Ability to work as part of a team and also alone at times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture
Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery and power tools
Familiarity with the operation of excavators and irrigation systems is desirable
Ability to use hand tools confidently and safely
Construction experience or background in groundskeeping is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications or licences for operating machinery & application of pesticides (PA1 & PA6) preferred but not essential.

Pay: £27,040.00-£30,000.00 per year
