We have an exciting new vacancy for a Spa Receptionist to join our team at The Felbridge Hotel Gatwick. Our modern hotel features 116 stylish rooms, a fully equipped gym, and a relaxing leisure and spa area, complete with a heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Conveniently located on the edge of East Grinstead along the A22, we’re easily accessible from the M23 and M25 motorways, making us commutable from nearby towns such as Royal Tunbridge Wells, Crawley, and Horley.

Your duties will include:

Greeting guests and ensuring everyone feels welcome.
Handling guest inquiries professionally via phone and email.
Processing payments and bookings for spa experiences, packages, and memberships.
Informing guests about the spa’s facilities, offering guidance and assistance when needed.
Upselling treatments, spa products, and other services tailored to each client’s needs.
Maintaining accurate client records, tracking treatment history and feedback to enhance customer care.

This is a 20-hour per week, fixed-term contract for 12 weeks, working Friday to Monday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. There is the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong computer literacy skills, a confident and professional phone manner, excellent customer service skills, and the flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including days, evenings, and weekends.

While previous experience and knowledge of spa treatments and products are desirable, they are not essential. Proficiency in using booking systems such as Opera and Premier booking systems are also beneficial but not required.
