We’re delighted to announce the newest addition to our portfolio of purpose-built care homes – Harrisons Court, expected to open in October 2026. Harrisons Court will offer high-quality residential, respite, and dementia care within a stunning, state-of-the-art 72-bed home featuring modern bedrooms, spacious dining and living areas, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our journey from the very beginning as we build a warm, welcoming home at the heart of the Radcliffe-on-Trent community.

Are you an experienced cook with a dedication to always serving the tastiest meals? Are you passionate about working in the hospitality industry... but don't want the unsociable hours?

We have the perfect role for you!

What you will receive as Chef Manager;

£16.00 per hour
Full-time, permanent contract
37.5 hours per week
8 hour shifts, 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
Based in Radcliffe-on-Trent

What you will be doing as Chef Manager;

Supporting, encouraging and inspiring the team to ensure residents’ needs are met and a friendly, supportive working environment is established
Liaising with the Home Manager when planning/costing menus to provide a balanced nutritious diet, and make the best use of available fresh foods
Implement, monitor and maintain cleaning schedules, joining in with the washing up of pots, pans, and dishes and ensuring the kitchen is immaculate
Actively engaging with residents in conversation and meaningful activities related to their lifestyle choices, understanding their likes/dislikes and beliefs.
To cater for ad hoc functions held within the home i.e. Home parties, resident birthday celebrations, etc.
To comply with all Health and Safety regulations including Food Hygiene and C.O.S.H.H. regulations and ensure compliance from all kitchen staff.

What you will need to be successful as Chef Manager;

Previous experience in catering for a minimum of 25 covers
Fantastic leadership and management skills
NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Food Preparation and a current Food Hygiene certificate
COSHH training and understanding of HACCP
Have caring, calm and compassionate nature, with the ability to communicate with others on various levels
