Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation and cooking within a vibrant, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A passion for food and a commitment to food safety standards are essential for this position. Experience with Italian food especially pizza is a plus!

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, following established recipes and safety protocols
Support the team in meal assembly and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Help with stock rotation and inventory management to prevent wastage
Contribute positively to a team environment by assisting colleagues as needed
Serve meals efficiently during busy periods, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who wish to gain practical experience within a professional kitchen environment. We value enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive approach to teamwork.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
