Location: Preston – Construction industry
Job Type: Part-time 20 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Office Support / Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment and contributing to a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the team.
Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally.
Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases.
Order and monitor office supplies and stationery.
Support colleagues with day-to-day office tasks and projects.
Ensure the office environment remains organised and well-maintained.

About You

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
A professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
