WHO ARE WE?

Delhi House is an independently run restaurant which opened in August 2020 in Manchester (CORN EXCHANGE) and opened in Liverpool (Albert Dock) in 2024.

We specialise in authentic Indian food with a modern approach and cocktails in a beautiful modern day setting. We are looking for some experienced and ambitious managers to join us at our Liverpool site.

Delhi House is an expanding business with plans to open further sites within the next year so this is a perfect opportunity for managers who want grow with us.

Responsibilities:

Helping to lead service with a hands on and positive approach
Being able to help out in any department in order to relieve pressure in busy spells
Maintain exceptional level of standards
Ensure staff and logistics are in place to ensure a speedy but quality service
Cashing up after shift and locking up the restaurant
Opening up the restaurant, getting it ready for service and making sure all deliveries are put away beforehand
Supervise employees to ensure the smooth operation of your business.
Hire, train, and discipline staff members.
Handle customer concerns and complaints and deal with them effectively.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Deal with any potential threats to the business.
Make sure that all government regulations are followed.

Most importantly a positive can-do attitude is what is needed for this role. Delhi House is a fun place to work, and is very fast paced so being able to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure is a must.

There is a real scope for progression for the right candidate, with the company due for expansion over the coming months.

A successful candidate will be able to ensure that the entire staff is well informed of all current events, as well as understand the mission and values of the organisation. The right candidate will be a collaborative and creative team player with a willingness to solve problems and lead by example at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in supervising and managing restaurant teams
Strong background in hospitality and culinary operations
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
Experience in bartending and beverage service
Familiarity with food production and kitchen environments
Excellent leadership and communication abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.70 per hour

Hospitality: 3 years (required)
