Dental Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Salary: £13.00–£13.65 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus scheme and funded training opportunities.

The Role

As a Dental receptionist/ Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the patient journey. From the first phone call to welcoming patients into the practice, you'll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional and seamless experience.

Your Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries with professionalism and care
Booking and managing appointments efficiently
Supporting patients with forms, payments and treatment enquiries
Maintaining accurate patient records using our dental software systems
Liaising with clinicians and the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
Helping patients feel informed, reassured and valued throughout their journey with us
Supporting practice growth through excellent customer service and patient communication

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in a customer service, reception or front-of-house role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using computers and learning new systems
A positive, proactive and professional attitude

Desirable

Previous dental reception experience
Qualified GDC-registered Dental Nurse looking for a reception-based role
Experience using dental software systems
Knowledge of appointment scheduling and patient administration

Salary & Benefits

£13.00 per hour for candidates with relevant reception or customer service experience
£13.65 per hour for qualified Dental Nurses working in a reception-based role
Performance-related bonus scheme
