Full job description

Hours: 05:30–14:00, Monday to Friday

About the Role

Universal Trade Frames Ltd are looking for a reliable and hard‑working Factory Operative to join our production team. You’ll be involved in cutting and welding UPVC products, supporting daily targets, and ensuring high‑quality output.

What You’ll Do

Operate the saw cutting centre to cut UPVC products to specification
Operate UPVC welding machinery (fused weld process)
Work to daily production targets
Check welded and finished products for defects
Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

Previous manufacturing experience (saw centre or welding) preferred but not essential
FLT licence advantageous — training can be provided
Good attention to detail
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
